Library Membership

Welcome to Blue Ridge Community Library!

Library memberships are free. Residents of Woodlands County may acquire a library card provided that proper identification is shown.

Your library card is an Alberta Library card, and as such, can be used to borrow and return books at any Alberta Library.

Valid for one full year from the issue date, renewable at the library. Patrons under the age of 16 must have a parent/guardian sign the membership application at the library. A waiver form must also be signed if you are allowing your child to use the internet at the library.

Your card is your key to online access - with the barcode and your four-digit PIN number, you may search our catalog, request or renew materials, use the online databases, access WiFi at the library, and more.

The loan period for books is 3 weeks; DVDs, videos, and current magazines are lent for a 1 or 2-week period.

If you lose your library card please get in touch with the library immediately to avoid the unauthorized use of your library card.

If you move or change your phone number please notify us as soon as possible in order to keep your file up to date.
